Meters Bonwe Group is an apparel company in mainland China, founded by Zhou Chengjian in 1995 in Wenzhou City, Zhejiang Province, which develops, designs, manufactures and sells casual clothing.

History
In 1993, Meters was established under the brand name “Bonwe”. In 1995, the first Bonwe shop was opened in Wenzhou, Zhejiang Province. In 2005, the company opened its headquarters in Shanghai and opened the Metersbonwe Clothing Museum at the same time. In 2008, the company was listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange and launched its new brand “ME&CITY”. In 2010, the company launched its banggo e-commerce platform, and in 2015, it launched its “You Fan” shopping platform.
By 2006, the company had opened 17 branches across the country, with 1,600 shops across China and a retail sales volume of 4 billion RMB. 2011 saw the company’s system-wide sales exceed 10 billion RMB.

In 2003, “Meters Bonwe” wool jumper was awarded as “China Famous Brand”.
In 2004 and 2005, “Meters Bonwe” was awarded “China Youth’s Favourite Clothing Brand” for two consecutive years.
In 2008, the company achieved a total revenue of RMB 4.474 billion and a net profit of RMB 588 million.
On August 8, 2012, China’s 100 most valuable brands were announced, and Meters Bonwe ranked 52nd with RMB 6.169 billion.
