Honduras

The Republic of Honduras, A republic in Central America, is bordered by Guatemala to the west, El Salvador to the southwest, Nicaragua to the southeast, the Caribbean Sea to the east and north, and the Gulf of Huntsega in the Pacific Ocean to the south. There are also territories in the Caribbean Sea outside the mainland, such as the Swan Islands and the Bay Islands. The capital is Tegucigalpa. Honduras is located between the Pacific Ocean and the Caribbean Sea and is mainly mountainous, with lava plains inland and narrow strips of plains along the coast. The climate ranges from tropical in the lowlands to temperate in the mountains. Coastal zone and mountain wind slope annual precipitation can be up to 3000 mm.
